Here on beautiful Coeur d'Alene Lake, the days are getting longer and a bit warmer. We are definitely ready for a complete snow melt and the feeling of spring in the air. Spring brings with it new changes and we are excited to announce that Denise and Terry Oliver are the new owners of Sunset Gallery. They hope to bring the same creative flair that original owner, Carol Muzik, brought to the Gallery.

Carol is working on her book, Raising Lucy, about the orphaned Great Canada Goose she and her husband adopted, raised and successfully returned to the wild. Lucy was a huge inspiration for rekindling Carol’s own artistry and to the creation of the Gallery. See more on Raising Lucy at www.raisinglucy.com.

New owners, Denise and Terry, have had a lake cabin in Harrison for about ten years and have lived there permanently for about five years. Terry is a realtor with an office in the Harrison Building and Denise has many avenues of interest – including making and selling art in the Gallery. Together they have six children, all grown, with ten wonderful grandkids.

Harrison has always been a tourist destination for the summer, and now the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike path brings thousands more from all around the world. Be sure to stop in on your next trip to say hello and see what’s new at the Gallery.

Sunset Gallery will re-open May 1, 2007. Until then, have a great Spring – and feel free to contact us regarding our upcoming season. Our contact info is below, left.
